Reagan & Michael are two of the kindest people you will ever meet and this is evidence by all the amazing loving people invited to their wedding at Noverr Farms. It’s a picturesque place in Northern Michigan for such a fun & kind couple. The centennial barn overlooks Lake Leelanau and the ceremony takes place […]

Laurel & Ben reached out to me just 17 days before their wedding hoping we would be available to shoot Super 8 film for their wedding day in Muskegon. Fortunately, we were still free but we had no idea how intentional, thoughtful, candid, colorful, fun, and wonderful their wedding would be. We were in for […]

Super 8 films have become our most sought after, desired, and beloved videos for weddings. While our philosophy to integrate and partake on a wedding day and in the lives of our couples has never changed, Super 8 cameras have just enhanced that approach even more. For Brenin & Packy’s wedding weekend at Bay Harbor, […]

When couple’s get married at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, they don’t have to guess because they already know whoever shows up, must love them a lot.

You don’t have to wonder what it was like to be there because Super 8 films make you feel like you were there!

The drinks flowed freely, the speeches ended in glasses clinking, more tears, belly laughs, and cheers all around.

You couldn’t wipe the smiles off these twos faces the whole weekend if you tried to. The air was thick with joy and the people were electric as they celebrated Brenin & Packy under a classic white tent in Bay Harbor on Lake Michigan.

Despite the heat, we found some shade, watched the sunset, and dipped our toes in at Lake Michigan!

Super 8 films OR “an experiment in merriment”. No one wedding day is like the other and neither are these nostalgic wedding films!

Even though it was hot as could be this September at Felt Mansion, it couldn’t stop from Letting Abbie & Tom’s love from opening the doors (a little play on their first dance song “Let My Love Open the Doors”).

Believe it or not, this day started out freezing cold, rain blowing sideways, and windy as could be.

Lizzy & Peter’s wedding day was filled with so much intention, so much heart, and tons of joy. You see it in the clinking glasses, the heartfelt speeches, the pies, honoring Great Aunt Fern, dedications to Lizzy’s mom who passed, teary-eyed speeches, warm hugs, and a dance floor that stay packed and movin’ all night […]

The weather was perfect on Mackinac Island, the sun was shining, and the ferry’s were bustling all the guests over for this amazing day at the Grand Hotel. Some friends & family took 4-5 modes of transportation to celebrate these two (plane, train, car, ferry boat, and a horse drawn carriage ride). For these two, it was well worth it.

Joyous. Emotional. Homage. Tradition. Culture. Just a few words to describe this amazing day of Karina & Drew’s wedding up North in Michigan near Traverse City. The backdrop: gorgeous, deep blue, Torch Lake.

An engagement party turned surprise wedding. Was suppose to be in Italy, but due to military orders it got moved to the location of their first kiss: her childhood home front steps. Shifting your mindset and embracing the unexpected allows for stories to be written that we couldn’t [or wouldn’t] write ourselves and it turns […]

This was the quintessential Northern Michigan wedding weekend up near Traverse City in Leland Fish Town. It started with a rehearsal dinner at Dune Bird Winery (which happened to be owned by Ainsley’s cousin & husband) – the evening was warm, lit with string lights, filled with joy and the melodic sounds of Johnny P […]

This was a unique wedding we got the opportunity to document. A whole wedding weekend at Wisconsin’s Camp Wandawega – it’s a camp famous for all its unique camp spots: airstreams, old school tents, hatchet throwing, huge bonfires, a treehouse, and canoeing down by the lake. Elisabeth & Isaac took full advantage to host all […]

Danielle & Alex kicked off their 4th of July wedding with an American themed welcome party; think lots of red, white, & blue, with stripes & stars. Everyone embraced the spirit as we played games, Alex’s dad gave a tear-filled speech, and his mom was also a flood of tears because of a gift they […]

Straight off the bat, I will say my vote is for a live band (sorry DJ friends!) – I’ll share why below… A few questions to consider: LIVE BAND Pros Cons Each of the above 3 photos are from weddings that had live bands, let’s now move onto DJs… DJs Pros Cons So, should you […]
