Jon & Trish’s wedding day was perfect timing, literally. They had it just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the islands! It was filled with joy, celebration, tears, and many laughs. The little kids stole the first half of the “show” with their cute little outfits and sweet smiles. As Trish was walking to see John, she almost fell and ate it; fortunately, she regained her step and gracefully approached her soon to be husband 🙂 They exchanged some warm hugs and smitten smiles while their friends were getting selfies on the beautiful beach haha. Jon’s mom and Trish’s dad were both overcome by emotion several times during the day where tears flooded their eyes as they handed off their oldest in marriage. During the ceremony, after Trish was asked “Do you take Jon to be your lawfully wedded husband?”, she simply replied “Yes” which made everyone laugh; especially see Jon’s best man’s face 😉 After the I Do’s, they had a simple cocktail and reception with drinks, leis, and local grindz (a whole pig, chicken katsu, mac salad, rice, and poke) at their Airbnb in front of the Koolau Mountains. They finished off the night with a traditional bouquet and garter toss that turned into a real scramble; both people who caught them, knocked people over to win the prize!
