We got to spend almost the whole month of July with the other half of our family on the mainland! Days at Lake Norris were spent on the water followed by lots of game nights…the perfect combo for vacation. We also squeezed in visits with old friends and even surprised two of our favorites in – of all places – Trader Joe’s. Baby K enjoyed a little too much good food this month and kicked like crazy through the whole thing 🙂

Of course it was awesome to come back to Hawaii, but Midwest summers (lightning bugs, $3 watermelons and DQ’s on every corner) are magic in their own way.
