Amanda & Josh planned a small and simple wedding with their closest friends and family at the base of the Ko’olau Mountains in the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden. They got ready together at their apartment in Honolulu with their fur baby and then met us up on the east side of the island for some portraits before their intimate ceremony. They paid $20 for a campsite permit which allowed them to have their ceremony and “reception” in the botanical gardens. Since it was a local wedding, they knew the best tricks for having a beautiful location without having to pay lots of money for a venue! Since it was a mountain wedding, the rain wanted to make it’s way back to where they were – and it did a few times – but we just waited it out until these two got married. It was an honor getting to document this day in their lives. We love you Amanda & Josh!
