Vai and Mark are Married at Ponomakena Sanctuary

It was important to Vai that her culture be represented throughout the day, so both of her dresses were made in India, their ceremony was a combination of both Indian & American influences & she made sure flowers were present everywhere (seriously, everywhere. It was an explosion of color!!) The wedding came together in a way that was reflective of them – suave & fashionable with a touch of whimsy.

Things to remember:

The six letters Mark wrote & gave to Vai the morning of the wedding to be opened at different life milestones.

Vai & her family’s close relationship – her little brother looks up to her like no other & she loves her parents fiercely.

How proud Mark’s brother & sis-in-law were watching their flower-girl walk down the aisle. And how a half hour later she tried to eat the petals instead of throwing them.
