Their wedding day was filled with lots of laughter and lots of hugs for their loved ones. Megan and Dan have such a heart for their friends and family – something they wanted portrayed in their photographs. Michigan gave them some hot weather (think 90 degrees) on their September 16th day, so they took full advantage of sucking down the ice cold Corona’s and getting some AC at their venue, the Felt Mansion in Saugatuck. Dan’s dad actually pulled out a dirty shop rag to wipe the sweat off his face after the ceremony. Here’s a few highlights from Meg & Dan’s wedding day: 

• they got married on an “island” surrounded by water so when Megan walked down the aisle, she faked as if to fall in and scared her mom to death – she had been talking all day how funny it would have been to see someone fall into the water, a testament to her happy-go-lucky personality

• their ceremony was full of tears and heartfelt vows for one another, another thing that’s true of their love for each other

• after the ceremony, Megan told Dan’s grandma that she “looked pretty” and grandma responded “you say you want a cookie?”
