It had been a rocky week followed by an intense Monday. So when these guys texted at 4pm asking if we wanted to paddle out to Chinaman’s, we went for it.
Three hours later we were in the back of the truck on the ride home, shivering with goosebumps and watching the sky fade to pink. Our conversation turned to how God knows just what we need before we even say a word. He knows each of us more intimately than we could ever know ourselves and loves to take care of us in simple (yet at the same time, very very grand – like the horses barreling down the mountain here) ways. Grateful for nature, grateful for a Father who cares about every little detail in his kids’ lives and hearts.
