June was a restful month after all the craziness that took place in May. We spent lots of time outside, going to the beaches, dipping Seea deeper into the ocean (which shocked her at first and was cold to her little skin), walks at Turtle Bay, more rainbows, and our first (and possibly last!) family photos as a group of 3.
The Roukema family came to Hawaii for vacation and to celebrate Ron & Ashley’s 20th wedding anniversary at an Airbnb on Oahu’s North Shore. They flew their officiant over from Molokai – the same woman who married them 20 years earlier!
Midwest summers (lightning bugs, $3 watermelons and DQ’s on every corner) are magic in their own way.
Or, another way to put it, the Christmas of Kira.
