Jon & Trish’s wedding day was perfect timing, literally. They had it just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the islands! It was filled with joy, celebration, tears, and many laughs. The little kids stole the first half of the “show” with their cute little outfits and sweet smiles.
They saw each other for the first time between two palms near the ocean and shared a tearful hug, just the beginning of the floodgates that would pour out. During their whole ceremony, their maid of honor, Milla, cried pretty much the whole time while Carrie & Max exchanged laughter & tears throughout their vows along with their parents and grandparents.
It was a truly honoring day to their friends & families. The gifts they gave, the love they showered on their guests, and the speeches from their siblings speak to these two’s love for each other and others. They ended the night under some twinkle light and twinkle stars with an epic sunset to boot at Olowalu Plantation House.
We photographed Jenna & Brendan’s wedding in Cincinnati, OH just 5 months before this. They decided to honeymoon in Hawaii at Waikiki, Maui, and Kauai. For Valentine’s Day (just two days before they arrived), Jenna’s mom surprised them with a couple’s session to have photographs of their brief time on Oahu before heading to the other islands 🙂
