The Hernandez Family made a trip to Hawaii for their 5 year anniversary & in expectation of baby #2 🙂 Amy had booked just a regular session with us, but then Jorge reached out a few weeks before the day and asked if we’d be willing to photograph that plus a surprise vow renewal for them?
August: a month of beach days with friends, church on the beach, and visiting Uncle Glenn and Auntie Ruth at their A-frame up in Pupukea which he built from his own hands.
With the mountains reigning in the background, the blue ocean reflecting the puffy clouds and the cliff on which he would ask her to be his wife, this was exactly what Xavier had in mind when proposing on Oahu! He pulled it off, but not without a little speculation from Natasha (as all proposal stories go).
We said we felt a change coming and that was highly accurate. We’re a little surprised and so, so, so excited!
These two are made for each other: the speeches they read to one another at their reception were humbling and refreshing for every married couple to hear.
