We really love the people in these images and wanted share some moments from their wedding days. These are the final Midwest weddings we photographed since moving to Hawaii (for those of you who aren’t from the United States, it’s an area on the mainland where we grew up filled with flat farmland and good, good people!)

We wanted to do each of these couples justice of the beauty that lies in the Midwest (as well as in Hawaii and everywhere in the world). That beauty is humanity: the love, the support, the encouragement, the mundane (i.e. the three groomsmen video recording Mary Meg & Alex’s first dance), the “loss” of your daughter or son to marriage, the crazy dance floor shenanigans, the innocence, warmth, and a heck of a lot more!

These people are so so amazing and we’re honored to have put the truth of their wedding days into images for them to remember for life & pass on as a legacy to their kids and grandkids.
